It is our Pleasure to announce to the world that We have won the Wedding Wire Couples’ Choice Awards for 2014! We couldn’t be more grateful for all our wonderful clients! Check what Wedding Wire said: "Our annual awards program represents the top five percent of the WeddingWire local vendor community, comprised of over 200,000 Wedding Professionals throughout the United States and Canada. Professionals across all service categories, from wedding venues to wedding photographers, are recognized based on their overall achievements throughout the previous year. The winners are determined by recent reviews in recognition of excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism within the wedding industry. The WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Awards are selected solely based on the reviews from past clients on WeddingWire, the nation’s largest wedding review website, featuring over one million newlywed reviews. Vintage weddings will still be going strong in 2014. Theres something that seems special and so romantic about incorporating antiques and old world family customs to a wedding. Also remembering loved ones who have passed is another wonderful idea. Nicole and Chris were recently married and I had the honor of performing for their beautiful Vintage Wedding this past September in Rothschild Wisconsin. First off, the wedding reception was held at the historic Rothschild Pavilion. It was built in 1911. So much history has taken place here from Glenn Miller, Louis Armstrong, Buddy Holly, Buddy Guy and more. Nicole & Chris brought in family antiques and heirlooms that helped enhance their wedding day decor and guest experience. It was a very special day and they had a lot of fun celebrating with their family and friends. Please enjoy a few of their beautiful Wedding photos! Photos are by Heather Kessler Photography Such an Honor it was to be apart of this beautiful wedding!
Please Check out an awesome video that was put together for the newlyWeds Mr. and Mrs Avent! Still remember all the great times we had that night!! Check out the Vid Brides,
Buy a wedding planner book or make your own. Make sure it has a calendar and pockets to store brochures and clippings. This helps you organize your ideas and helps you store contact information all in one place. Make sure to include contact information, appointment dates and times. You can also add swatches of fabric and photos of flowers to show to your florist. #weddingtips Here is a quick video that was shot of Steve during a wedding in Sept 2013. He facilitated the new dance craze entitled "Wobble" and the "Cupid Shuffle". Hope You all enjoy! In this wedding industry, we have worked with many Photographers in our line of business but none compare to Keith Claytor and his Wife of Timefrozen photography (www.timefrozen.com). Ladies and Gents if you haven't already checked them out, please do! The Best in the business! We enjoy each and every time we get the chance to collaborate on an event! Tiffany and Michael's Wedding truly ended with a Bang literally! The Bride ordered a special surprise for the Groom! Fireworks!! I have heard many horror stories at my consultations and at myperformances over the years about how the MC ruined their wedding, their family members wedding or their friends wedding.
Here are some examples:“The MC never showed up.” “We hired a friend of the family really cheap and he canceled a weekbefore because he forgot that he was attending a music festival on mywedding day.” “The MC was drunk. “ “The MC miss-pronounced all the names to my wedding party” “MC said vulgar and obscene things on the microphone.” “The MC wasdressed shabbily.”“The MC left right after theintroduction”“The MC gave no direction or made anyannouncements. No one knew what was coming up next or what was goingon.” “The MC didnt follow the time-line we gave him” “The MC thought the wedding was about him with his funny antics andcompletely forgot that it was about the bride and groom.” “The MC took a number of smoke breaks outside.”“The MC was hitting on the bridesmaids and other female guest” “The MC forgot to mention the cutting of the cake”These are just a few!And we wonder why so many people don't take what we do seriously! Here are some things to consider when hiring your wedding MC:Does your MC have references from other wedding vendors, local banquet halls and hotels, from bride and grooms? Have others heard about your MC? If not, why not?Do they have current reviews online? Will they know how to read a crowd?Do they have a professional looking web site? That is one of their calling cards! There are many levels of talent in MC's. Not all MC are created equal! Will your guests be entertained? Will it be FUN at your wedding?Finally..Will you be able to enjoy your wedding day and have fun with your family and friends, and feel comfortable knowing you hired a trusted professional who will carry out the outline, your wishes, plans, requests, for your most important day? Will you feel comfortable about thewedding entertainer you hired for your wedding, or will it be abouthow much you saved hiring a cheap MC or having a close friend orfamily member do it? Don't play the roulette wheel with your wedding entertainment. It might endup landing on the horror story MC! |
